Summary
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Senior Associate) with 3–5 years of experience who can work across both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on automation experience along with strong skills in understanding user stories, creating test cases, and executing end-to-end testing in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications

Work closely with product owners and developers to understand user stories and define test scenarios

Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test data
-
Execute both automated and manual test cases and analyze results

Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
-
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across releases
-
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Ensure adequate test coverage across automation and manual areas

Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
3–5 years of experience in QA with a mix of automation and manual testing

Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (STLC, SDLC, test design techniques)

Hands-on experience in automation frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber, Gauge, etc.

Experience with automation tools/frameworks: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress

Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java / Python / JavaScript

Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools

Strong experience in test case design and requirement analysis (user stories)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Familiarity with version control systems like Git

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities
