Candidate requirements
1+ years prior experience supporting a team of solicitors in a busy environment in a legal secretary role or similar;
Experience using iManage or another case management system;
Experience using a billing platform (Elite 3E or other);
Diary management and planning;
Comfortable working in a busy and fast-paced environment;
Strong technical skills; and
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
Responsibilities include
File management – importing guidelines, accessing documents, sending demand letters, and making sure files remain updated;
Document production – drafting affidavits and correspondence as required;
Client billing – coordinating the team’s monthly billing process, ensuring invoices making sure invoices are issued on time and accurately;
Diary management - making sure schedules are organized correctly and there are no conflicts with diaries;
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, including arranging specialist appointments and gathering required materials;
Providing legal administrative support to the team;
Other duties as assigned.
