CaSE is an international civil and structural engineering consultancy delivering complex infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Brazil and the USA. Founded in Australia by engineers with a background in major infrastructure delivery, we combine practical construction knowledge with strong technical design capability to solve complex engineering challenges.es, roads, active travel, utilities, tunnels, aviation, asset maintenance and major infrastructure projects. As our Irish business continues to grow, we're looking for a Principal Civil Design Engineer to help lead project delivery, support clients and play a key role in building the team.

The Role

This is a senior technical and leadership position within our Ireland operation.

You'll lead the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects while helping grow our design capability across Ireland and the wider business. You'll work closely with colleagues throughout Ireland, the UK and Australia, with opportunities to contribute to international projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of civil design projects from feasibility through to detailed design.
Manage project programmes, budgets and technical delivery.
Act as a technical lead and reviewer for design outputs.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Support business development, bids and proposals.
Mentor and develop graduate and intermediate engineers.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across the wider business.
Provide practical, buildable design solutions that consider constructability and delivery outcomes.
Help grow CaSE's civil engineering capability throughout Ireland.

What We're Looking For

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
Significant experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in Ireland, the UK and internationally.
Strong technical capability across roads, drainage, utilities, active travel, highways or general infrastructure design.
Experience leading design teams and managing client relationships.
Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets.
Proficiency with industry-standard design software.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
