The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior software development engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable, highly available infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments, including Connexion production and non-production systems across global regions.
Drive DevOps, automation, CI/CD, deployment, and release-management practices to improve reliability, repeatability, and operational efficiency across environments.
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications, services, internal tools, automation, and custom Connexion devices using .NET/C#, SQL, scripting, and related technologies.
Support healthcare interoperability workflows, including HL7 message processing, routing, validation, channel configuration, customer-specific integration patterns, and Connexion-based troubleshooting.
Maintain and upgrade Connexion Remote Agents, Gateways, Processors, databases, and supporting services to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable healthcare integration operations.
Drive observability and production support through monitoring, logging, alerting, Grafana dashboards, metrics, proactive health checks, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements.
Support security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, patching, secure configuration, StateRAMP/FedRAMP-supporting environments, and audit-readiness activities.
Collaborate as part of the US ISA team, whose members are located in the United States, while partnering with cross-functional teams, global customers, and delivery partners to define quality standards, prioritize urgent needs, support go-lives, migrations, decommissions, right-sizing, cost optimization, and production issue resolution.
Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, Confluence/Jira artifacts, installation guidance, technical standards, and knowledge-transfer materials to improve supportability and reduce tribal knowledge.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide support across global time zones as needed.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher and 5+ years of job-related experience supporting production systems in cloud and on-premise environments.
Experience with AWS operational services and infrastructure support, including EC2, RDS or database platforms, CloudWatch or similar monitoring tools, automation, and environment maintenance.
2+ years of experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure-as-code, deployment tooling, version control, and release management.
1+ year of hands-on .NET/C# or similar development experience, including building or supporting backend applications, services, internal tools, or automation.
Knowledge of quality engineering practices, including test automation, validation, and support for testing strategies.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
2+ years of experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues in high-availability systems.
2+ years of experience with HL7 interfaces, healthcare integration workflows, message routing, validation, channel troubleshooting, and customer integration support.
Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering practices, including system reliability, performance tuning, observability, incident management, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
Experience with observability and operational dashboards using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Kibana, or equivalent logging and monitoring platforms.
Experience supporting vulnerability remediation, patching, secure configuration, and compliance-related operational work in production environments.
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, communication, and continuous-improvement skills, with the ability to respond to urgent customer and system needs.
Experience using AI and large language models to support development, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and everyday work.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and familiarity with containerization or orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
