In this role, you'll help ensure the quality, accuracy and reliability of reporting applications and customer-facing insights. You'll partner closely with BI Engineers and business stakeholders, support testing and validation activities, and contribute to solutions that make complex data easier to understand and use.

What you'll do:

Support BI Engineers in the development of reporting applications and customer-facing reports
Validate new or enhanced technical developments and work closely with BI Engineers to achieve quality and accuracy
Data validation and testing, collaborating with colleagues and resolving data issues in a timely manner
Work closely with business to gather and finalize requirements, business documents, or user stories
Design, build, and maintain architecture pertaining to data validation and QA automation
Load data and be able to create user friendly views, providing technical solutions
Responsible for maintaining existing data load process building blocks and customizations
Demonstrate data literacy and be resourceful in terms of understanding Medicare overall, STAR measures, gap closures and claims
Learn about the products, share ideas and be able to train or influence other team members

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
Proven experience working with relational data and SQL programming, including SQL Server, Teradata, or similar databases
Proven experience in a QA role, including testing, analyzing, and validating data
Proven experience in data processing involving movement across platforms such as SQL, Snowflake, or Hive, and working with text files and other data sources
Demonstrated experience working with business intelligence solutions and architecture, including Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Demonstrated experience working within the software development lifecycle, including business requirements, technical documentation, and quality assurance
Demonstrated ability to independently understand data structures within physical tables or views, and to create or enhance stored procedures or functions supporting reporting and data interfaces
Proven ability to develop and manage multiple projects with minimal direction and supervision
Demonstrated ability to perform system investigation, reverse engineering, and new development while adhering to development standards and change control practices

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience working with Python and Snowflake
Proven experience within healthcare, financial services, or insurance industries
Proven experience automating ETL processes
Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. healthcare and Medicare
Demonstrated solid communication skills, with experience presenting ideas and solutions to business stakeholders
