Safegard Systems, based in Bray; Ireland and part of the Swegon Group, are leading Specialists in fire dampers, smoke dampers and damper control & monitoring systems.
Safegard are now recruiting for an experienced Field Services Supervisor in a stand-alone role, working from the Bray office / customer sites to deliver service and support on the Safegard Systems range of control system products throughout Ireland, UK & Europe. Providing training and continuous development to the Field Service teams of Commissioning and Maintenance operatives and engineers. Primarily supervising the team and ensuring compliance with safe systems of work in line with business requirements and expectations.
Main Duties and responsibilities: (This is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change depending on the business needs)
Supervising the Commissioning & Maintenance Engineers and Operators on a day to day basis, offering first line support
Provide technical advice and support to customers, the internal service department, and other Safegard departments as needed
Assist in the preparation and submittal of RAMS as per customer requirements where needed
Oversee the teams reporting through JobLogic and drive both accuracy and improvements
Providing up skilling and training to Commissioning and Maintenance teams through coaching and mentoring, as well as supporting Induction Plans, Probationary Reviews and Skills Gap Analysis
Conduct Toolbox Talks, Engineer Safety Reviews, Risk Assessments and Inspections as well as providing concise and clear feedback to the management team on Engineer performance and development
Provide regular feedback through the Engineer Feedback Form and regular updates to management through a Supervisor Weekly Report
Undertake regular stock takes within the Field Services teams
Carrying out maintenance, repair, commissioning and service support to a wide range of equipment when additional site support is needed
Communicating technical information and site requirements back to the office teams
Completion of relevant service paperwork using our online platform
Liaising and developing working relationships both with the customer and other employees within the company.
Awareness and appreciation of Health and Safety requirements and completion of Dynamic Risk Assessments
Review and suggest improvements to add value to the service delivery
To provide high level quality customer service both internally and externally
Ensure we promote the Safegard & Swegon, offering any support and potential leads across the Group Companies for business opportunities and development
Compliance with company policies, procedures and processes

- Experience working on construction sites
