Purpose Of The Role:
Reporting to the UK and Ireland Finance Director this role fulfils a key position in the Irish finance function. The role as well as responsible for day to day transactional tasks is a key conduit for all departments on Ireland financial topics. Cross functional support and collaboration with UK colleagues on common topics where beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing key aspects of the P&L overhead and Balance Sheet ·
- Completion of varying reports and analysis for Head office Germany
- Other adhoc duties that may arise
- Leading Year-end audit
- Leading tax reporting including Pillar II compliance
- Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation of and analysis of Balance sheet matrices
- Review, improve and drive on-going improvements in tracking and reporting processes for the business.
- Support the budgeting and re-forecasting process for company overheads with Controlling department
- Key point of contact on Finance systems
- Ad-hoc administration assignments or project work as required
- Support UK and Ireland Finance Director
- Support or lead on common UK and Ireland topics
- Key liaison and support to other departments and areas of the business.
Skills & Experience:
- Professional Accountancy qualification or on route to qualification
- 1-2 years relevant industry or practice experience
- Be resilient and flexible, with the ability to cope with change in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to have a good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office suite with a strong preference for SAP knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
