Full job description

At O'Flynn's Gourmet Sausage Company, we are inviting enthusiastic experienced, confident customer focus experts to interview for our Restaurants in the English Market, Winthrop St and Western Road. The successful candidates will bring their individuality, experience and personality to our business, understanding and promoting what we do best.

The Deli Assistant will take responsibility for the efficiency and effective operation of the restaurant. Keeping it clean, stocked and providing excellent customer service. They will maintain customer care and service standards and have an awareness of product knowledge and merchandising. They should also understand and carry out all duties to O’Flynn’s Gourmet Sausage Company's Cultural and technical standards.

We are looking for full-time staff only at the moment.

Skills/Qualifications:

· Cooking skills and experience

Haccp experience essential

· Food Presentation skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability and flexibility to perform different aspects of the role

· Good communication and interpersonal skills required. .

· Honest, Hardworking, punctual, reliable team player is essential.

· Good eye for detail a distinct advantage

Person Behaviour Requirements:

· Punctual and ready for work at start of day and after breaks

· Flexible to work overtime when needed

· Excellent attendance with minimum time away from work

· Excellent Customer Service with the ability to smile and welcome customers

· Positive and Professional interaction with customers, suppliers & staff

· Understanding of and consistently performs to the requirements of the job

· Accurately and fully complies with all HACCP, Health & Safety, Quality and other Company Policies & Procedures

· Follows instructions and receives feedback positively

· Brings a positive, proactive approach to work and is willing to learn new functions

· Multi-skilled to cover a variety of tasks

· Productive Team Player – approachable and connects well with others

· Confident in own abilities, shares information & regularly offers ideas and solutions
