Carpenter
Salary: from €40,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
An excellent opportunity is available for a qualified carpenter with experience in rough and finish carpentry, along with other areas of residential and commercial construction. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on product quality and customer satisfaction. Salary is based on experience and capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and experience across various trades including demolition, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, finish carpentry, and window, door, and siding installation
- Ability to communicate and work well with clients, managers, subcontractors, and co-workers throughout each project
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to take direction from the General Contractor
Position Responsibilities
The carpenter will be responsible for the successful completion of assigned jobs, including:
- Completing projects on time and within budget
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and quality
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Communicating professionally with clients and team members
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Proficiency with tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Good math and measurement skills
- Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of construction health and safety practices
Additional Requirements
- Ability to carry out physical work including lifting equipment, bending, standing, climbing, and walking
- Ability to safely operate manual and power tools and equipment
- Own basic carpentry tools and reliable transportation
- Full valid driver’s licence
- CSCS card, Manual Handling, and Safe Pass preferred
