About the Role
As one of Ireland’s most progressive and people-focused building consultancies, we are strengthening our project delivery team with an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of several M&E-led projects currently in development. ORS delivers high-quality engineering and project management services across commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors nationwide.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex building services projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, helping to drive technical excellence, programme control, and quality outcomes across all stages of project delivery.
The role offers significant autonomy, exposure to diverse and technically challenging developments, and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and growing team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical building services activities across multiple projects
- Manage the delivery of M&E packages from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
- Maintain strong program control and monitor project progress against key milestones
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants
- Carry out site inspections and oversee installation quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Identify and resolve technical, coordination, and program-related issues
- Support procurement activities, contractor management, and commercial reporting where required
- Contribute leadership, technical expertise, and mentoring support within the wider project team
Essential Requirements

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical building services
- Proven experience delivering M&E-led projects within commercial, residential, healthcare, or similar sectors
- Significant on-site experience with strong knowledge of construction and installation processes
- Experience managing project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and multidisciplinary teams
Desirable Requirements

Chartered Engineer status or progression toward chartership
- PMP or similar qualification
- Experience delivering large-scale or technically complex developments
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and digital project delivery tools
- Leadership or commercial management experience
- Experience working in live operational environments
