About the Role
The Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) is responsible for driving and executing the creative vision for a brand-new venture. In this high-impact role, you will act as the core user interface design power for a major multi-team initiative. Together with your design partner, you will bridge the gap between various teams to ensure we deliver a cohesive, world-class user experience from the ground up. As a key hire for this new venture, you’ll have the autonomy and resources to leave a lasting signature across this new system.
This role sits within the Product Design Team and focuses on crafting a brand new interface for our up and coming cutting edge assessment platform. You will be accountable for executing a development-ready interface and working closely with designers and product manager colleagues and to deliver a new-age, AI-ready experience.
This role plays a key part in the company by crafting brand new experiences for customers and test takers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities

The immediate requirements of this role are predominantly focussed on the User Interface skill sets, crafting concepts, prototypes and high fidelity interfaces for dev implementation (based on the conducted research and UX flows and wireframes)

This role requires experience working to robust timelines

This is a highly-visible project, you will be working across multiple teams, supporting counterparts in moving toward the same North Star.

Clearly articulate design solutions to stakeholders and leadership, and how they will meet user and customer needs

You’ll be instrumental in collaboration & critique sessions with key stakeholders, and enable confident decision making

Proactively seek & provide feedback to ensure team and project alignment

A pro-active nature and can anticipate the required next steps in the process

A team player attitude is crucial, with clear and timely communication with your working team mates

You have adopted AI technology into your workflows as a catalyst to enable momentum (think Figma Make or other tools at the concept stage)

Help challenge ideas and features that align to the principles and vision of the Product Design Team

Supporting the product roadmap through research-led insights to deliver refined, purposeful, and intuitive digital experiences.

Participate in calls with overseas colleagues (will require some out of hours calls in a typical week)
Experience & Skills
Required:
-
Proven Track Record: You are a seasoned professional with a portfolio that shows real-world, delivered products. We want to see how you solved complex problems, not just your polished UI shots.

You have solid experience in platforms, systems, and dashboards. You know how to make smart and logical user flows.
-
Design System Mastery: You don't just use Design Systems; you live in them. You understand how to leverage, contribute to, and scale a system to ensure consistency across a number of products.

Agile Native: You are comfortable in the fast-paced rituals of Agile. You know how to pivot when requirements shift and how to keep momentum during a sprint.

Technical Acumen: You possess a strong understanding of the "how." You can speak enough engineer language, understand technical constraints, and ensure your designs are as feasible as they are visually impressive.

The Design Thinker: Your experience makes you a "T-shaped" designer. From broad working knowledge of the design thinking process, with deep expertise in high-fidelity UI execution, you know exactly which tool to pull from your kit depending on the project’s needs.

In-depth working knowledge of Figma, Design Systems
Nice to Have:

Designing for accessibility standards puts you at the top of the pile

Well practiced in web applications/systems at scale (such as SAAS at Enterprise level)

Working with APIs or embedding third party systems is a bonus

Location & Working Style
Our team is based in Dublin City Centre. We value the balance between flexibility and the energy of in-person collaboration, and work from the office at least three days a week.
