Recently refurbished and beautifully upgraded, The Plaza Hotel Tallaght has been completely transformed. The interior of this 4-star hotel now features exciting new eateries alongside 122 spacious and comfortable ensuite bedrooms, including a selection of large suites. Two bright and versatile event spaces, along with four meeting suites, provide the perfect setting for conferences and events of all sizes, from 5 to 200 guests.

About The Role
At the Plaza Hotel, our team takes pride in delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high hospitality standards at all times.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen and all back-of-house areas.

Prepare and present food orders to a high standard in line with recipes and presentation guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section throughout service and complete close-down procedures according to company standards.

Follow instructions from Management and support the monitoring of food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards.

Ensure HACCP procedures and food safety standards are followed at all times.

Maintain proper food storage, stock rotation, and waste control procedures.

Ensure high standards of hygiene are observed during food preparation and storage.

Work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team and support colleagues when required.
Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience working as a Chef de Partie.

Good knowledge of HACCP procedures with practical experience applying food safety standard.

Previous experience in a four-star hotel kitchen is desirable.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Strong ability to work under pressure in a busy team environment.
