Excellent opportunity to join a Big 4 Tax practice where you will be part of a high-performing team. Our globally coordinated Tax practice combines exceptional knowledge and experience with local expertise and cutting-edge technology platforms, making us a market leader in Tax services. You will receive exposure to some of EY's most diverse and exciting clients, working with the latest Tax technology solutions in the market. We are currently seeking applications from suitable candidates to join EY’s Tax practice at Senior Consultant Level.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance and advisory services.
- Collaborate with internal teams across service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
- Take ownership of client relationships, acting as the face of EY and building your personal brand.
- Lead the preparation and review of corporate tax computations and returns in accordance with Irish and international tax legislation
- Deliver tax advisory projects including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions
- Interpret and apply changes in tax legislation, advising clients on implications and opportunities
- Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations for financial reporting purposes
- Represent clients in engagements with Irish Revenue, including audits and correspondence
- Utilize tax technology platforms and data analytics tools to enhance compliance and advisory efficiency
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities within existing client portfolios
- Design and deliver technical training sessions for junior staff to support their development
- Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring they gain exposure to a broad range of technical and practical experiences.
- Support performance reviews and contribute to the growth and retention of talent within the team.

- Demonstration, and a track record, of working with a team of people to deliver a quality service to clients.
To qualify for the role you should be
- Qualified or partially qualified in ACA (or equivalent), law and/or Tax; or AITI qualified.
- Working or have worked in a tax role either in practice or industry.
- Technically strong and keen to develop further.

They must be able to manage competing projects, deadlines and client needs, demonstrating superior organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
