We are looking for professionals who can collaborate effectively across business, risk, compliance, operations, and technology functions and who are comfortable operating within complex and fast-changing regulatory environments.
We are seeking experienced Managers to join our growing Financial Services Risk Consulting practice. Managers will play a critical leadership role in client delivery, leading workstreams and teams while helping clients navigate increasingly complex regulatory, risk and controls challenges.
We are hiring for Managers’ across 4 key areas:
- Regulatory Transformation.
- Compliance, Conduct & Financial Crime.
- Process & Controls.
- Non-Financial Risk.
Background & opportunity:
- Managers will work across a broad range of engagements, helping clients design, implement and transform risk management capabilities while supporting the delivery of major regulatory and business transformation programmes.
- The role is suited to professionals who can combine technical knowledge with structured delivery leadership, strong stakeholder management and the ability to operate across multiple risk disciplines.
- Managers will be expected to support both delivery excellence and practice growth through quality client work, team leadership and contribution to proposals and market material.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workstreams and small to medium-sized engagement teams across risk, compliance, financial crime and fraud, controls and regulatory transformation projects.
- Manage delivery of regulatory implementation, financial crime and fraud risk remediation, controls transformation, risk framework and operating model engagements.
- Design practical risk frameworks, governance models, controls environments and target-state solutions.
- Lead client workshops, stakeholder interviews, status reporting and delivery governance activities.
- Support programme mobilisation, PMO, risk and issue management and implementation planning.
- Coach and develop Senior Consultants and junior team members through review, guidance and feedback.
- Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, credentials and proposition development.
Key areas of interest:
- Process and controls design, testing, remediation and transformation.
- Compliance frameworks, conduct risk, consumer protection, financial crime and fraud risk, governance and accountability requirements.
- Regulatory implementation, remediation programmes, change delivery and transformation PMO.
- Operational risk, enterprise risk, risk appetite, risk governance and risk framework enhancement.
- Risk operating model design and technology-enabled risk transformation, including GRC, automation, workflow and analytics.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Typically 6 to 10 years of relevant experience within Financial Services, consulting, risk, compliance, financial crime and fraud risk, controls, assurance or transformation environments.
- Experience leading workstreams and managing small to medium-sized project teams.
- Ability to convert regulatory, risk or controls requirements into practical delivery plans and client outputs.
- Strong written, analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality client deliverables.
- Confident stakeholder management across risk, compliance, operations, technology and business functions.
- Awareness of technology-enabled risk transformation and an interest in applying digital solutions to improve control and risk outcomes.
