Description

Are you a newly qualified tax professional looking to advance your career in a progressive Irish practice? Or maybe you're looking for a new challenge with a growing team.

Our Dains Ireland tax team in Dublin are expanding, and recruiting a dedicated, tenacious and client focused Tax Senior who is looking to forward their career and enhance their experience and aspirations. This role will allow you to join our growing team, offering exposure to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, manage and review tax compliance work for a wide range of personal and corporate clients, ensuring high quality and timely delivery
Support compliance and queries across VAT, Employment Taxes and RCT, working with the wider team as needed
Support tax planning and advisory projects, including drafting inputs for proposals and client deliverables
Liaise with Revenue and clients to resolve queries, support interventions/audits where appropriate, and provide updates
Research Irish tax legislation and contribute to technical memos / written advice (with review and support from senior team members)
Assist with CGT and CAT computations and related planning for individuals and owner-managed businesses
Support a varied client base including sole-traders, landlords, owner-managed businesses/SMEs, HNWIs and family offices
Identify opportunities and develop trusted client relationships over time
Coach and support junior team members (and review work where appropriate), contributing to a collaborative team culture

Qualifications and Experience:

CTA Qualified (newly qualified accepted) with relevant tax experience in practice
Strong understanding of Irish tax systems and Revenue processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
