Parkhouse Family Practice are seeking an experienced, motivated and forward-thinking Practice Manager to lead the operational and administrative functions of our busy and well established GP surgery.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare manager to play a key leadership role, working closely with our GP partners and clinical team to shape the future development of the practice.
About the Role
As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the practice while driving continuous improvement in patient services, operational efficiency, staff development and business performance.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing all non-clinical aspects of the practice
- Supporting and developing a dedicated administrative and reception team
- Ensuring the smooth delivery of services to both GMS and private patients
- Managing practice finances, budgets, payroll, purchasing and supplier contracts
- Overseeing GMS claims processing and compliance with HSE requirements
- Monitoring key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR, employment legislation, health and safety and healthcare regulations
- Managing patient feedback and supporting excellent patient experience
- Liaising with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, the HSE and external stakeholders
- Supporting digital innovation and optimisation of practice management systems
- Contributing to strategic planning and future growth initiatives
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Healthcare Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Irish primary care services, including GMS and private patient administration
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Experience managing staff, budgets, payroll and practice operations
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with GP practice software systems
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and lead change effectively
- A proactive, solution-focused and patient-centred approach
Desirable Qualifications
- Qualification in Healthcare Management, Business Management, Human Resources or a related field
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and business planning
- Knowledge of quality improvement and practice accreditation processes
