Full job description

Deep Cleaning Operations

Carry out comprehensive deep cleaning of assigned areas in accordance with site specifications and schedules.
Strip, scrub, disinfect, and reassemble high-touch and hard-to-reach surfaces.
Deep clean floors including machine scrubbing, steam cleaning, stripping, sealing, and polishing as required.
Thoroughly clean skirting boards, vents, tiles, grout, doors, frames, and fixtures.
Remove built-up dirt, grease, limescale, and bacteria from all surfaces.

Specialist and Periodic Cleaning Tasks

Operate specialist cleaning machinery and equipment following training and safety procedures.
Deep clean kitchens, canteens, food-preparation areas, and appliances.
Carry out intensive washroom and restroom sanitation, including toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, and basins.
Perform internal window, wall, and ceiling cleaning as part of scheduled works.
Support post-construction, post-event, or infection-control cleans where required.
Carry out deep cleaning of external areas where specified, including entrances, bin stores, and car parks.
Remove debris, staining, and built-up grime to maintain site appearance and safety.
Support overall site presentation to ensure compliance with hygiene and visual standards.

Compliance and Safety

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with COSHH and company training.
Always wear and maintain appropriate PPE for deep cleaning tasks.
Follow all health and safety procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
Report hazards, incidents, near misses, or equipment faults to management immediately.
Maintain awareness of emergency, fire, and site-specific procedures.

Working Standards and Behaviour

Maintain high attention to detail and consistency across all tasks.
Represent the company professionally at all times while on client sites.
Ensure punctuality, reliability, and flexibility to meet operational needs.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve cleaning objectives.
Maintain excellent personal hygiene and correct use of uniform and equipment.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in deep cleaning, specialist cleaning, or industrial cleaning roles.
Experience using floor machines, steam cleaners, or specialist equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and infection-control procedures (training provided).
