As a Mid Market Account Executive, you’ll fill a key role in acquiring new customers and creating raving fans. Being a champion of the entire sales process from start to finish, you will use your creative prospecting skills to strategically pursue net new business. Working through complex deals, your insatiable curiosity makes you a thought leader, and your drive to succeed keeps you at the top of the leaderboard. As a part of Gong's sales team, you will become a master of discovery & a strategic business partner for prospective customers. You will play a huge role in our company growth journey, while navigating your own individual growth journey as well. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage prospects from lead to close
Land new business within greenfield territory
Clearly articulate and demonstrate our Gong value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
Regularly iterate messaging that will scale our outbound prospecting engine
Engage and educate senior executives on the importance of the emerging Revenue Intelligence industry and validate Gong as the leader in this new market
Partner with our SDR, Sales and Sales Engineering teams to develop account-based sales strategies to uncover value for all go-to-market department leaders

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of relevant SaaS Sales experience.
Track record of overachieving revenue targets of 1M+ and successfully navigating and closing six-figure deals
Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work hybrid with three days in the office and two days from home

A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
Passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences
Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and well-organized
Experienced in selling transformation/visionary solutions, especially where there isn't an obvious budget (demand creation vs. fulfilment)
Comfortable leading technical presentation/demo and owning full customer lifecycle from prospect to close
A team player with high integrity and grit

NOTE: This position is a hybrid-based role (office 3 days a week and remote 2 days)
