The Hotel

The Osprey Hotel, located in Naas, Co. Kildare is just 35 minutes from Dublin City and close to all major routes. Travel to the Osprey is made easy with several major bus route within walking distance of the hotel and Sallins Train station located close to the hotel.

The Role

Reporting to our Executive Head Chef and Head Chef, you will require strong leadership capabilities and be able to run the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Head and Head Chef. As a senior sous chef you will be a professional, focused chef with a flare and passion for food presentation. We are looking for someone with experience working as a Sous Chef who will work with the management team to oversee the smooth running of our kitchen.

About The Role

Ensuring consistency and high standards of food for our restaurant & bar and conference and banqueting.
Managing the operations of the kitchen in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to
Developing the kitchen chef team
Ensuring the smooth running of food services in the absence of the executive head and head chef

Required Criteria

Candidate must have a minimum of three years experience as a chef

Desired Criteria

Previous experience as a sous chef

Skills Needed

Chefing Skills, Food Costing Skills, HACCP/Food Safety Management Skills, Supervisory Skills
