Combilift & Warehouse Operative (Naas)

Established and reputable wholesale distribution business supplying a wide range of products including hardware, steel, agricultural materials, plumbing, and building supplies. The organisation is known for its strong customer focus, quality standards, and commitment to employee development.

Role Overview:
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse and steel yard environment, ensuring accurate order fulfilment, efficient stock management, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
Accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Conducting regular stock counts and inventory checks
Verifying orders against invoices and reporting discrepancies (e.g. shortages, duplicates)
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries, highlighting any issues
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Storing goods in designated warehouse locations
Reviewing courier documentation to ensure accuracy of shipments
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Liaising with colleagues, customers, and transport providers in a professional manner
Reporting operational issues or concerns to supervisors
Carrying out additional duties as required by management

Key Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Forklift licence (desirable)
Full driving licence (essential)
Flexibility to work overtime when required
