DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about working with the world's largest and most strategic enterprises to drive their cloud transformation journey? As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor to our most strategic customers, helping them navigate complex business challenges through innovative cloud solutions. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the success of our customers' businesses as they adopt the latest technology trends. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise, allowing you to shape the future of how enterprises leverage cloud technology to transform their operations and drive business growth.

Key job responsibilities
Design and deliver comprehensive cloud architectures for our largest and most strategic enterprise customers, ensuring solutions meet complex business requirements and technical constraints

Serve as the trusted technical advisor to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, translating business objectives into scalable, secure cloud solutions

Lead cross-organizational initiatives requiring consensus and collaboration across technical and business teams to deliver successful solutions
Drive transformation by architecting large-scale solutions that solve significantly complex or persistent customer problems, often creating new patterns and methodologies

Establish thought leadership by developing and delivering technical content, presenting at industry events, and sharing best practices across global Solutions Architect teams

A day in the life
One moment you could be acting as a trusted advisor to the C-suite of your customers, the next diving deep into the latest AI trends to build an 'Art of the possible' prototype to inspire the customer's technical leaders and decision makers. As a Principal, your impact will be felt across your team and other teams globally: You will be setting the standard that other Solutions Architects and field teams will follow.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
Experience in specific technology domain areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
