As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. As a Customer and Operations Expert in our Sea Logistics team, you’ll be the voice of Kuehne+Nagel for our customers, ensuring their shipments are handled with care, precision, and a proactive attitude. You’ll be part of a dynamic team, supporting customers throughout their shipment journey, solving problems before they arise, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

This is a temporary position with a duration of one year.

How you create impact

Act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering a professional and positive experience
Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates and prevent potential issues
Monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Capture and manage customer requirements in internal systems
Investigate and resolve service deviations quickly and effectively
Support claims handling and contribute to reporting activities
Identify and drive continuous improvements in customer service processes

What we would like you to bring

Minimum of 1 year of experience in sea logistics
Strong written communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to produce timely and accurate monthly reports
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to contribute to an efficient and professional service environment
