We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Content Creation Executive to enhance the quality, consistency and impact of Woodie’s social and digital content.

This role is primarily focused on producing high-performing, social-first content that elevates brand storytelling across Woodie’s stores, products and people. The successful candidate will have strong video production and editing capabilities and will be confident appearing in front of the camera when required.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, this individual will play a key role in delivering engaging content that supports brand growth, audience engagement and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production

Produce high-quality, social-first video content across Woodie’s stores and locations
Film and edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Meta
Capture product demonstrations, seasonal campaigns, in-store activity and colleague-led storytelling
Develop platform-specific content aligned to channel best practice and audience behaviour
Support photography and still imagery creation where required
Contribute to key seasonal trading periods including Spring, Summer, Back to School, Halloween and Christmas

On-Camera Content & Creative Execution

Confidently appear on camera for product showcases, tutorials, walkthroughs and branded content
Record voiceovers and support narrative storytelling across content formats
Direct and support content shoots to ensure high-quality execution and output
Interview colleagues, customers and suppliers to create authentic brand stories
Present content in a natural and engaging tone aligned to brand guidelines

Social Media & Trend Awareness

Stay up to date with emerging social trends, platform updates and content formats
Proactively identify opportunities to adapt trends in a brand-safe and commercially relevant way
Contribute creative content ideas informed by insight and performance data
Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for differentiation
Understand key drivers of performance across social platforms

Content Planning & Execution Support

Support delivery of the social and digital content calendar
Assist in planning, organising and executing content shoots
Maintain strong content organisation, file management and workflow processes
Support community management and scheduling where required
Contribute to reporting and use insights to optimise future content performance

Store Collaboration & Field Content

Travel regularly to Woodie’s stores to capture on-location content
Build strong relationships with store colleagues to identify content opportunities
Plan and coordinate content capture in advance with store teams
Ensure all content reflects the Woodie’s brand and customer experience authentically

Skills & Experience

Experience in content creation, digital marketing or social media production
Strong video production and editing skills using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva or Premiere Pro
Confident both behind and in front of the camera
Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and content structure
Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in file and workflow management
Ability to plan and execute content shoots effectively
Strong awareness of social media trends and platform behaviour
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
