A Day in the Life

Healthcare is changing. Our innovative products and services enable earlier disease diagnosis, safer treatment, faster recovery, and improved patient outcomes. This is however only a part of the innovation need.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Pain Therapies team as a Technical Consultant supporting the territory across Ireland, helping to ensure optimum therapy outcomes for patients.

If you are proactive with the positive, can-do mindset and a self-starter who is eager to develop their career and clinical expertise with Medtronic this role is for you.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Manage customer and patient interactions with Medtronic devices
Provide technical support in the operating theatre and patient clinics
Perform trouble-shooting functions and resolve customer issues in key accounts
Effectively collaborate with sales, clinical and engineer teams to ensure best use and practices of our devices within key accounts
Ensure own competitor knowledge remains up to date along with the ability to promote Medtronic products in line with clinician and service needs
Provide data in line with the weekly business demands

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Degree in Bio-Science, Radiography, Life-science, Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree (preferably in Neuroscience) preferred
Healthcare related experience with a commercial mindset
Experience in clinical or technical interaction with healthcare professionals and patient
Excellent communication and Influencing skills
Driving licence
