In 2025 we entered Ireland with the formation of RCK Partners Ireland and have begun delivering clients since inception. We are targeting rapid headcount and revenue growth over the next 18-24 months to build and service a client base that will be organically grown in Ireland and cross-sold from the UK.
We’re looking for a new team member having experience in R&D Tax Credit Consulting from within the Irish professional services industry to join our growing team and provide financial and client management expertise in the delivery of claims. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within R&D tax credits, preferably with broader accounting/financial expertise gained before entering the R&D tax credit space.
This is a pivotal role in expanding RCK Ireland and will be expected to work on some of the biggest claims in Ireland, interact closely with our commercial teams in both UK and Ireland and facilitate building the business network.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for high quality delivery of advice and solutions to clients, ensuring management of risk and reputation.

Preparation of R&D financial claim reports and documentation in-line with Irish Revenue guidance and legislation

Reviewing R&D tax credit calculations in order to prepare claims for submission to Irish Revenue.

Managing multiple engagements and delegating and reviewing work prepared by other team members.

Managing a broad portfolio of R&D clients to ensure quality and risk management procedures are continuously adhered to.

Interact with technical consultants and compliance.

Capability for high pressure work whilst maintaining attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Engage with the sales team and help build networks to facilitate new clients and attend sales meetings where required.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to secure long-term business

Share knowledge of previous technical areas and develop further technical curiosity
About You:
- Current experience (at least 3+ years) of claim delivery in R&D tax covering the technical aspects of claims with exposure to financials desired
- Masters or PhD/EngD in a science or engineering based subject would be desirable, but not essential
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
- Ability to work autonomously with high productivity and accuracy
- Excellent teamwork skills with a desire to coach and support junior colleagues
- High attention to detail desired with effective organisation skills
- Ability to work with modern CRM systems
