BizTalk System Integration Specialist:
Do you want to contribute to transforming complex IT landscapes into modern and efficient integration platforms within Life Sciences? At NNIT, we are looking for a BizTalk System Integration Specialist who can deliver high quality integration solutions and support our clients in optimizing their business through robust middleware implementations.
As a consultant in NNIT Life Sciences, you will work with some of the largest, most innovative and ambitious Life Sciences companies in Europe. You will be part of projects that support critical business processes and regulated environments where quality and compliance are essential.
Being a consultant at NNIT means variety and responsibility. No two days are the same. You will primarily work with integration projects and be involved across the full lifecycle from idea to implementation, including proof of concepts, design, development, implementation, testing, documentation and continuous improvement.
In your first months, you will support the client in transforming their existing IT landscape into a modern integration setup. You will identify improvement opportunities in current integrations and processes and contribute to optimizing the client’s business through scalable and compliant BizTalk solutions. You will also ensure that integrations meet agreed quality and documentation standards.
Your responsibilities:
- Participate in workshops with stakeholders from the client and NNIT to gather and document requirements
- Contribute to proof of concepts to validate architecture and design choices
- Design and prepare technical specifications for integration solutions
- Develop code, scripts and configurations required for the technical solution
- Create and execute relevant technical tests for the solutions
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance in regulated environments
- Provide input and technical guidance to related workstreams dependent on the integration solution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of integration platforms and processes
Required skills and experience:
Must have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Pharma related program or similar
- Minimum three years of experience working with integrations
- Experience with one or more integration platforms, preferably Microsoft BizTalk Server
- Hands on experience with BizTalk artifacts such as orchestrations, maps, schemas, pipelines and ports
- Good knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP, REST, JSON and web services
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, network layouts and security, database connectivity and programming
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for resolving technical integration challenges
- Self-motivated team player with strong customer orientation and ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments
Nice to have skills:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience developing solutions compliant with regulatory and legal requirements within the Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with integration of CRM systems, SAP and production warehousing solutions
- Experience with general software development
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus or API Management
- Knowledge of CI CD and automated deployment for BizTalk solutions
- Experience with monitoring tools and operational support processes
- Familiarity with EDI, AS2 or B2B integrations
- Experience with source code control systems such as GIT or ADO
- Natural interest in the newest integration technologies

Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language such as German, Danish, Italian, Spanish or French is desired but not essential.
