About the Opportunity
Our client is a well established Irish consultancy group with a strong reputation across Health & Safety, Environmental, Engineering and Compliance services.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a commercially driven Recruitment & Business Development Manager to develop and lead their specialist recruitment function.
This is a unique opportunity to build and operate what is effectively a mini recruitment agency within an established and growing business. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to develop the division while benefiting from the support, infrastructure, brand reputation and resources of the wider group.
The position can be based anywhere in Ireland, with occasional travel to company offices and client locations as required.
The Role
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the recruitment division, managing the complete recruitment lifecycle while building strong client and candidate relationships.
This is a hands on role combining recruitment, business development, account management and commercial responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
· Developing and growing the recruitment division.
· Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
· Building and managing long term client relationships.
· Managing the full recruitment process from vacancy briefing through to successful placement.
· Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates.
· Managing candidate pipelines and talent pools.
· Negotiating fees, rates and commercial agreements.
· Managing open vacancies and ensuring timely delivery to clients.
· Monitoring gross margins and overall profitability.
· Managing temporary workers and contractors throughout their assignments.
· Coordinating contract extensions, redeployment opportunities and contractor retention activities.
· Supporting workforce planning requirements for clients.
· Supporting internal recruitment requirements where required.
· Attending client meetings and occasional site visits.
· Delivering against agreed revenue, activity and placement targets.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with ambitious individuals who have experience in recruitment, sales, account management, workforce solutions or other commercially focused environments.
The successful candidate will possess:
· Strong relationship building and communication skills.

· Experience in business development, client management or recruitment.
· An understanding of margins, profitability and revenue generation.

· Full driving licence.
Previous recruitment experience would be a distinct advantage but is not essential, as training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
