Full job description

Oakpark Foods is a leading producer of retail turkey, pork and bacon products for the Irish and UK markets. We have two best in class production facilities, one in Clonmel and one in Cahir, Co. Tipperary.

We are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor for our site in Cahir. This is a night shift position starting time from 8pm to 4.30am.

Responsibilities

To take overall responsibility for the cleaning of the site.
Ensure that cleaning staff are complying with the sites Food Safety and Hygiene Policies and procedures.
Ensure that you and members of the cleaning team are working in a safe manner and following the company's Health & Safety guidelines – across the site.
To ensure that cleaning staff arrive on time and are appropriately dressed equipped and ready for the shift.
Ensure the working hours of the cleaning team are managed appropriately.
To monitor the standards of cleaning in respect of all areas of the site ensuring standards are consistently met.
Complete and manage the site cleaning control sheet. Plan deep cleaning of all areas and equipment with the Production /Operations team as required. Report any issues gaining access to the Food Safety and Quality Manager.
Report production or cleaning related issues to the Operations Manager & Food Safety and Quality Manager.
Train, instruct and supervise the work of cleaning Staff
To ensure that all equipment is fit for purpose in advance of all shifts and that chemicals and cleaning materials are provided as required and are handled and stored safely in accordance with data sheet specifications and that all staff are trained properly in their use and utilisation.
Ensure cleaning requirements for each shift are covered as required.
Carry out frequent checks during the course of the shift to ensure that all areas are being cleaned correctly and efficiently.
Ensure that all cleaning documentation is completed as required by the relevant staff.
Be present for Pre-operational checks with the QA department, and rectify any issues as they arise.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
