The Enniskerry Inn is a multi award winning gastro pub with an attached six bedroom guest house, set in the heart of one of Wicklow's most popular village destinations. As a busy family run business, we pride ourselves on great food, warm hospitality, and a strong reputation with locals, visitors, and tour groups alike. Our long serving Front of House Manager is returning home, and is happy to provide a generous notice period along with full training and handover to ensure a smooth transition for the right candidate.

*Job Purpose*

To lead the front of house team across the restaurant and bar, ensuring an excellent guest experience at every touchpoint. The role focuses on people, organisation, and service standards, with the support of an established team and a thorough handover from our current manager.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Front of House and Service

* Oversee the daily running of front of house in a busy village restaurant and gastro pub.

* Maintain consistently high standards of service, presentation, and guest care.

* Lead the team on the floor during service, leading by example.

* Handle guest queries and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.

* Events and Function Planning

* Plan and host events such as wedding rehearsals, private functions, and celebrations.

* Manage tour group bookings, including pre arrival planning, seating, and service flow.

* Liaise with clients by email and in person to make sure every event runs smoothly.

* Team Leadership and Employee Relations

* Manage rostering across the front of house team.

* Train, support, and motivate the team to maintain a positive working environment.

* Handle day to day employee relations matters with fairness and professionalism.

* Work closely with the owners on staffing and service decisions.

* Accommodation Support

* Help with guest enquiries relating to the six bedroom guest house when needed.

* Use the booking and accommodation software confidently.

*Requirements*

*Essential*

* At least 3 years in a professional hospitality front of house management or restaurant management role.

* Only candidates with this background should apply.

* Valid visa to work in Ireland.

* Fluent English.

* Strong email and function planning skills.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.

* Excellent people skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.

* Experience in guest experience and customer service.

* Previous accommodation experience.

* Experience with rostering and employee relations.

* Experience organising events such as wedding rehearsals and managing tour groups.

* Ability to commute, or willingness to relocate. Temporary accommodation can be provided to help with the move.

*Advantageous*

* Experience using Bizimply.

* Experience using Just Tip.

* Familiarity with Wicklow tourism or similar village destinations.

45 hour week over 5 days.
