Full job description

senior Bartender / Keyholder
Busy gastro bar – mixed day and night shifts (one weekend day off weekly)

As a Senior Bartender and Keyholder, you’ll play a leading role in the daily operation of a high-volume gastro bar known for craft cocktails, quality food, and elevated service. You’ll balance hands-on bar work with leadership duties, ensuring smooth shifts from morning setup to late-night close.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the bar team during service, maintaining high standards of presentation, consistency, and customer experience.
Open and close the venue as a keyholder: handle cashing up, securing premises, and monitoring stock levels.
Prepare classic and signature cocktails, curate wine and beer pairings, and assist in menu development.
Train and mentor junior bartenders and servers on technique, speed, and guest engagement.
Maintain accurate records for stock, wastage, and ordering; liaise with management on cost control.
Support floor staff and kitchen during peak hours to ensure seamless FOH–BOH communication.
Uphold health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times.

Schedule:
Rotating day and night shifts across the week, with one set weekend day off to ensure work-life balance while meeting venue demand.

Ideal Profile:

3+ years’ bartending experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and seasonal ingredients.
Confident under pressure, with a professional and approachable personality.
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to take ownership of the venue when the manager is off duty.

Pay: €16.00-€20.00 per hour
