A Day in The Life Of:

In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Software engineer role . This includes, but is not limited to the following:

Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines
Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines
Design proactive monitoring and alerting
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Mentor assigned junior engineers focusing on project support and skill development

Key Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s L8 degree in Computer Engineering , Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of experience
Data Architecture, including schema development (JSON/Avro) and ERD-based solutions
Experience working with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions
Experience with IaC tooling, ideally Terraform
Experience with AWS and AWS native tools including Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Lambda
Python (PySpark a big plus)
Experience with open source tools such as Apache Spark and Iceberg
AWS certifications a plus
Experience working in agile teams using principles such as scrum and kanban
Demonstrated experience automating routine tasks
On call support experience
