Multi-Task Assistant (Kitchen Assistant - Primary Focus)Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):

Supporting the catering team in the preparation and service of meals for residents in line with dietary, nutritional, and food safety requirements.
Assisting with basic food preparation, plating, and serving of meals.
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage areas, in line with HACCP and infection control guidelines.
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and well-organised at all times.
Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and correct food storage.
Supporting residents with meals where required, always maintaining dignity and respect.
Maintaining a warm, safe, and respectful environment for residents throughout the nursing home.
Assisting nursing and care staff with non-clinical duties as required.
Supporting residents with daily activities where appropriate.
Assisting in end-of-life care in a supportive and compassionate manner, under the direction of nursing staff.
Carrying out any other reasonable duties as assigned by nursing staff or management.

Candidate Profile:

If you are a compassionate, reliable, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential.
