Airline FTM Engineer (Planning)
The Airline Technical Services department at CAE Parc Aviation delivers Fleet Technical Management (FTM) solutions to airline customers across a variety of projects. The team supports safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations through technical expertise and structured maintenance planning.
As an Airline FTM Engineer (Planning), you will provide technical support within Airline Fleet Technical Management services, ensuring compliance with airworthiness and regulatory requirements. You will manage maintenance planning activities and contribute to multiple projects supporting airline customers.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing technical support within Airline Fleet Technical Management services in compliance with airworthiness and regulatory requirements

Creating and managing short‑ and long‑term maintenance plans, including work packages for line and base maintenance

Monitoring aircraft utilisation and scheduling maintenance accordingly

Ensuring maintenance data is accurately entered, maintained, and tracked within maintenance information systems (MIS)

Supporting the development and optimisation of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP)

Managing project timelines while considering operational and safety constraints

Supporting multiple projects simultaneously, as assigned by the Fleet Technical Management Leader

Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions
Minimum Qualifications
-
3–5 years of technical aviation experience gained through hands‑on roles within an airline CAMO, independent CAMO, aircraft manufacturer technical services organization, or MRO
-
Strong knowledge of CAMO planning and/or Part‑145 production planning procedures, including associated records, publications, and manuals

Working proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft fleets

Knowledge of applicable EASA and FAA regulatory requirements

Understanding of aircraft records and maintenance documentation, maintenance philosophies (e.g. equalized maintenance), heavy maintenance checks, MPD, AMP, and MSG‑3

Experience with maintenance information systems such as AMOS, TRAX, eMRO, OASES, or similar tools

Ability to simplify complex processes and draft technical procedures

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Willingness to travel as required
