Lead Multiple Bars in One of Donegal's Busiest Hospitality Destinations
Jackson's Hotel is seeking an experienced, organised and ambitious Bar Manager to join our management team and oversee the day-to-day operation of our busy bar outlets.
As one of the Northwest's leading hospitality destinations, Jackson's Hotel caters for weddings, conferences, events, leisure guests and local trade, creating a vibrant and fast-paced environment throughout the year. This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple bar operations while working alongside an experienced senior management team.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation, coordination and smooth operation of all bar outlets within the hotel. You will lead and develop a large team, ensure exceptional customer service standards, manage stock and staffing requirements, and contribute to the continued success of our food and beverage operation.
The Bar Manager will report directly to the Group Bar Manager, who will provide ongoing support and guidance on operational matters, offering an excellent opportunity for professional development and career progression within the group.

Manage the day-to-day operation of multiple bars throughout the hotel

Lead, motivate and develop bar supervisors and team members

Organise staffing levels and rotas to meet business demands

Maintain high standards of customer service across all outlets

Oversee stock control, ordering, inventory management and supplier relationships

Coordinate bar operations for weddings, conferences, banquets and special events

Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to drive revenue

Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety regulations and company policies

Manage costs, minimise wastage and maximise profitability

Work closely with senior management and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bar Supervisor in a high-volume hospitality environment

Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills

Experience managing large teams and multiple service areas

Excellent knowledge of stock control and bar operations

Required Criteria
