We are recruiting a Planner to join our civil department in Kill, Co. Kildare. The planner will develop detailed programmes for tenders & assist in our programming function for major infrastructure projects across Ireland.

Making Possible

Planning using MS Project & Primavera Software or Asta Powerproject.
Develop tender programmes including resource loading.
Coordinate schedules with site management and contractors.
Understand & maintain the contract programme.
Track & monitor progress.
Develop & monitor KPI’s.
Project Progress Reporting.
Subcontractor Progress Monitoring.
Assist with integration of programmes into BIM models (4d planning).
To provide strategic advice for safeguarding, and growth and development.
To engage with planning bodies as may be required, including through written submissions.
To work as part of a team, including through the flexible allocation of work as it arises.

What do you bring to the role?

Hold a relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in Primavera, MSP or Asta.
Proven experience in a planning role in the civil industry (main contractor experience preferred).
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and lead times.
Experience in developing tender programmes.
Ability to produce clear and concise planning narratives and reports.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage programme risks.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Be technically oriented and fully conversant in drawings, specs., BOQs, critical path programming, network analysis, etc.
Eligibility to work in Ireland and fluent English.
Full driving licence.
Detail oriented with strong organisational skills.
Proactive and solution focused approach.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with a strong team ethic.
