1. Objectives
Working for one of the major divisions of an international operational leasing Group listed in Paris, to manage and supervise the accounting of all the subsidiaries of the activity.
2. Responsibilities
- Manage and organize the accounting team, responsible for the supervision and reviews
- Optimize the process to improve accounting, closing and reporting tasks
- Supervise the general and auxiliary accountings, the day-to-day finance and accounts operations,
- Manage the Intercompany Accounts in compliance with the Group Policy
- Supervise the movement in the Fixed Assets Register
- Perform timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings of full set of accounts (IFRS and local GAAP),
- Prepare statutory and IFRS reports,
- Coordination and oversight of the audit and statutory financial statements process for all Rail division entities
- Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries, organize payments, Participate to the cash-flow management and cash reporting for submission to HQ,
- Supervise the preparation all local tax and vat reports
- Ensure correct treatments of various currencies and FX accounting
- Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies – ensure integrity and completeness of financial records
- Review and distribution of various monthly internal and external financial reports. This includes scheduling and leading financial close meetings with the finance, commercial, operations, assets management and support teams.
- Assignment and participation in ad-hoc finance projects (including variance analyses, Fixed assets software, Business Intelligence, acquisitions)
- Direct support to management team

4. Technical Capabilities
- Min Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA qualification
- Min 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in Leasing Industry is preferred.
- Able to work in a fast paced, global environment.
- Familiarity in IFRS is highly regarded
- Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
- Working experience in ANAEL and French speaking are advantageous
