About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Scrum Master to join our team at Davy. In the role, the successful candidate will:

Drive Agile delivery and culture, supporting multi-disciplinary teams in delivering with adherence to Agile principles and Scrum framework, and coaching team members and wider stakeholders on Agile best practice and mind-set

Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint retros etc.) and proactively identify, track and resolve blockers impacting delivery, working collaboratively across squads, the wider organisation and third parties as required

Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well refined with clear priorities, enable allocation of backlog activities across the squad and provide transparency on deliver progress, risk and outcomes

Champion Agile ways of working, governance, standards and tooling
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
Experience & Background
-
5+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master in software delivery environments, with a strong track record of improving team performance and delivery outcomes
- Experience working within cross-functional teams (engineering, product, UX, operations) in medium to large-scale organisations
-
Exposure to Agile transformation initiatives, including introducing or maturing Agile practices across teams or organisations
-
Comfortable operating in both hands-on delivery roles and coaching/mentoring capacities
-
Experience working with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Spotify model) or multi-team environments is highly desirable
Agile Expertise
-
Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid models (Scrumban)
-
Demonstrated ability to facilitate core Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Reviews) while driving continuous improvement
-
Proven experience establishing and improving Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) frameworks

Familiarity with metrics-driven delivery, including velocity, cycle time, and flow efficiency tracking
Coaching & Leadership

Ability to coach and mentor teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to improve Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness

Strong skills in facilitating collaboration, resolving impediments, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Experience embedding lean principles and efficient workflows into team practices

Comfortable influencing across all levels, including senior stakeholders
Technical & Delivery Practices

Good understanding of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automation, and DevOps principles

Awareness of Agile engineering techniques such as BDD, TDD, and feature toggling
-
Experience supporting teams in delivering high-quality software in iterative, incremental cycles
Tools & Data

Proficiency with Agile tools such as:
- Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar

Reporting and analytics tools for tracking Agile metrics

Ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making and improve predictability
