Social Care Worker – Children’s Residential Service
Croí Healthcare Ltd is recruiting compassionate and motivated Social Care Workers to join our children’s residential service in Co. Cavan.
The successful candidates will provide high-quality, person-centred and trauma-informed care to young people aged 12–18, supporting their emotional, behavioural, social and developmental needs within a safe and nurturing home environment.
- Provide day-to-day care and support to young people.
- Build positive, professional and trusting relationships with young people.
- Support individual care plans and placement goals.
- Promote independence, life skills and positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and care planning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers and other professionals.
- Maintain safeguarding and professional standards at all times.
- Participate in shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleepovers/waking nights as required.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Social Care or a related field.
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Relevant training required; Trauma-Informed Care training will also be provided.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Full driving licence is desirable.
- Successful candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting and other required pre-employment checks.
Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
