We at RFC Security Group are happy to announce that we are currently seeking a professional and experienced DSP Officer to join our ever-expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property within a high-profile DSP environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers professionally while monitoring access to the venue
- Check IDs, enforce age restrictions, and refuse entry where appropriate
- Ensure compliance with venue capacity and health & safety regulations
- Monitor crowd behaviour and proactively manage potential conflict situations
- Prevent and respond to incidents of disorderly conduct, theft, or antisocial behaviour
- Carry out regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence
- Liaise with venue management and Gardaí when required
- Complete incident reports and log entries as necessary
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining authority and control
Requirements:
- Valid PSA Door Security Personnel (DSP) Licence – essential
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and conflict management skills
- Calm under pressure with a professional and respectful demeanour
- Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
Desirable:
- Certified in basic first aid or physical intervention (advantage)
- Knowledge of relevant Irish licensing and public order laws
