Richtech Engineering Ltd are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to cope with increased demand on the maintenance team’s workload. This is a general maintenance role requiring someone with a good all round knowledge of, and experience in, some or all of the following areas:
- Electrical
- Mechanical
- Welding
- Engineering
Work Pattern:Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 11pm rotating weekly
The desired candidate will be required to:
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults on machinery operating in both production and packing areas in a food manufacturing environment.
- Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance routines to reduce/eliminate downtime within the factory.
- Ensure production/packing teams’ throughput targets are met by facilitating maintenance requests, whilst never compromising on quality.
Applicants must:
- Have a good understanding of how machines work.
- The ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Enjoy a fast paced, demanding production area.
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Be flexible around shift work
- Ability to TIG weld would be beneficial
- Have access to their own transport due to rural location
