Production Manager – Kitchens & Wardrobes

About the Role
Kitchen World is one of Ireland's leading kitchen manufacturers and retailers, and we're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who has a strong background in the manufacture of kitchens and wardrobes, understands lean production principles, and has a proven ability to lead teams while delivering quality products on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and wardrobe manufacturing facility.
- Lead, motivate and develop the production team.
- Plan production schedules to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency and labour utilisation.
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality control.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Work closely with Design, Purchasing, Logistics and Installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Manage stock levels, materials and production resources effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance and reduce waste.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing a kitchen and/or wardrobe manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of cabinet manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing CNC production, edge banding, assembly and finishing.
- Proven ability to lead production teams and improve performance.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and quality management.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
