Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Hours: 40 hours 7am-4pm/8.30am-5.30pm
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Team Dimensions:
- Supervising a team of between 8 – 10+ people
- Optimum team picking levels to be between 1500 and 2000 lines
- Optimum team order levels between 40 – 100 orders per day
- Combined team goal of 15,000 pallets per year delivered
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage workflow: Decide who does what on a daily basis, prioritize production needs, and help set daily targets for individual processes and machines.
- Train and develop staff: Provide guidance and support to new and existing staff, ensuring they reach their daily targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
- identify and implement process improvements: Continuously look for ways to streamline operations and make the job easier for staff.
- Performance management: Identify weak performers and work with management to provide additional training or support as needed.
- Collaborate with management: Work closely with the Factory Manager to make decisions on output and communicate these decisions to the warehouse team.
- Provide regular feedback: Give constructive feedback to all staff, both positive and negative, to help them improve their performance.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make tough decisions and provide regular feedback to staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to spend time with staff to ensure they are performing efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to identify process improvements.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and production processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management to make decisions that benefit the organisation.
