This is a key leadership position with responsibility for developing and executing the company's EHS strategy across all business units, projects and operational activities.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and clients, driving continuous improvement while embedding a world-class safety culture throughout the organisation.
The role requires a highly experienced EHS leader capable of influencing at board level, leading high-performing teams and ensuring Instrotec remains an industry leader in health, safety and environmental performance.

Develop and implement Instrotec's long-term EHS vision, strategy and objectives aligned with corporate growth plans.

Serve as the principal advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on all EHS matters.

Lead the continuous development of a positive, proactive and values-driven safety culture across the organisation.

Drive strategic initiatives that enhance organisational performance, operational resilience and sustainability.

Maintain corporate governance frameworks that ensure full compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations and industry standards.

Provide oversight of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and associated management systems.

Ensure effective risk management processes are embedded across all business functions.

Lead internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and client assessments.

Provide leadership and direction to regional and project-based EHS teams.

Establish leading and lagging performance indicators to measure and improve EHS performance.

Lead investigations into incidents and ensure lessons learned are embedded across the business.

Promote innovation and best practice in risk management, behavioural safety and environmental performance.

Represent Instrotec at senior client, industry and regulatory forums.

Build strong relationships with key clients, contractors and industry bodies.

Support business development activities by demonstrating Instrotec's commitment to safety excellence and sustainable project delivery.

Lead, mentor and develop the EHS function to ensure the highest levels of professional capability and performance.

Create succession plans and talent development programmes within the EHS team.

Foster collaboration across operational, commercial and project delivery teams.

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior EHS management role within construction, engineering, electrical, pharmaceutical, data centre, or industrial sectors.

Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation and regulatory requirements.

Experience implementing and managing ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and positive safety culture initiatives.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
