Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Kitchen Unit Assembler & Workshop Floor Operative to join our team.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Kitchen Unit Assembler & Workshop Floor Operative to join our growing team in the Galway area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing high-quality kitchens, wardrobes, and bespoke furniture, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent craftsmanship.
You’ll work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring all manufacturing is completed to the highest standard, on time, and in line with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling kitchen units to a high standard
- Using workshop machinery and hand tools safely
- Preparing and handling materials
- Checking finished units for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Supporting general workshop floor operations
- Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience is essential
- Strong spoken and written english ESSENTIAL
- We will consider candidates who have completed a 3-year Carpentry or Kitchen Making apprenticeship
- Good practical and technical skills
- Ability to read and follow drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, good timekeeping, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Previous kitchen manufacturing or joinery experience is an advantage
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification is a bonus, but can be provided if required
