Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista to join our team here in Flatcoffee Aylesbury Tallaght.
We’re looking for someone who loves great coffee, enjoys leading a team, and wants to help shape our coffee programme. If you’re passionate about specialty coffee and excited to grow with a friendly, independent business, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of outstanding espresso-based drinks to a high standard.
- Work closely with our in-house roastery and head roaster.
- Train and support the barista team.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment and high cleanliness standards of the workspace.
- Provide exceptional customer service whilst supporting daily operations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years speciality coffee experience.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso extraction.
- Able to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills.
- Ensure HACCP and health & safety compliance.
- Positive mindset with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
