Summary
Our HR Business Partner (standalone role), will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, driving people strategies that support business growth and performance. Working closely with management teams across the organisation, you will lead the full employee lifecycle, champion employee engagement and development, and ensure HR practices align with organisational objectives and values.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role that combines strategic HR partnership with operational excellence. You will play a key role in talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, leadership support, performance management, compliance, and helping to create a high-performing and inclusive workplace.
This role is offered on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. While the position is for a defined period, there may be opportunities for further employment within the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Lead workforce planning activities, including headcount management and annual people reviews.
- Manage the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, including work permits and visa processes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with employment legislation and company standards.
- Act as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters, providing practical and compliant solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organisational and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee key HR administration processes.
- Monitor HR metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Skills Required
- Degree level qualification in a relevant HR, Business or L&D discipline (3+years)
- CIPD accredited (advantage)
- Excellent organizational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation, Irish Employment laws and learning and development principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong leadership, decision – making and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently
- High level of discretion and integrity, maintaining confidentiality
- A proactive approach to problem solving.
