Glenn Cahill Cars is a family owned business with over 30 years experience retailing cars in the Galway area. We have a large and loyal customer base who trust us to advise and source quality cars. Electric cars and Hybrids play an increasingly important role in the stock we carry.
Main Responsibilities
- Negotiating vehicle sales and accurately appraising trade-ins
- Managing customer enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media
- Arranging and managing finance applications with various financial institutions
- Taking photographs of vehicle stock and uploading advertisements to platforms including DoneDeal, CarsIreland, Carzone and Facebook
- Managing vehicle preparation including servicing, tyres, valeting, bodywork, and ordering parts
- Coordinating vehicle handovers and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
- Dealing with aftersales queries and warranty-related customer issues
- Maintaining a high standard of forecourt and showroom presentation
Requirements
- Full clean driving licence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Saturday working is a must
- Previous motor trade or sales experience preferred but not essential
- Good understanding of social media and online advertising platforms an advantage
