Job description
City College Dublin- Faculty of Language is one of six faculties of City College Dublin, and part of the City Education & Learning Group. We are seeking to recruit ELT teachers, to join our morning and afternoon teaching team with an immediate start.
Role
The ELT Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering pedagogically sound, engaging, and motivating language lessons in General English.
Teaching Responsibilities
· Teaching 15 - 30 hours per week 9:00 to 12:15 and/or 13:45 to 17:00 on General English programmes.
· Plan, prepare, and deliver high quality English language lessons that meet the needs of learners, taking into account individual learning styles and interests
· Plan, prepare, and deliver General English at all CEFR levels as required
· Ensure teaching meets best practice in key areas of Classroom Management and Learner Focus
· Follow a CEFR-linked Curriculum & Syllabus, while supplementing with appropriate sourced or developed material
· Actively engage in Continuous Professional Development and the in-house Teacher Development Programme
Key Requirements & Competencies
Qualifications: Minimum- ACELS recognised ELT Certification e.g. CELTA and Level 7 QQI.
Language Proficiency: Minimum CEFR Level C2

€20 - €22 per hour
