About the Role
The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience in Ireland, be confident behind the bar, and have enthusiasm towards guests and colleagues. As a key part of the front-of-house team, you'll play a major role in shaping the overall customer experience, not just the drinks, but the atmosphere of the pub as a whole. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to pursue a long-term career in hospitality. Candidates keen to build a career with us are a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, including cocktails
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, friendly attitude
- Support management with day-to-day operations and opening/closing duties
- Support and guide junior team members where needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and stock levels behind the bar and across the premises
- Monitor and adjust ambiance factors such as lighting and music to suit the time of day and atmosphere
- Handle customer and staff issues calmly and productively
- Uphold high standards of presentation, professionalism, and teamwork
- Contribute to a welcoming and energetic pub atmosphere
Skills & Experience
- Previous bartending experience in Ireland
- No cocktail experience required, but a genuine willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure
- Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High standard of personal presentation, with a keen eye for detail across the venue's cleanliness and atmosphere
