Due to continued expansion, SJE is currently recruiting for an Electrician based in the Navan/kells region. This is a full time and permanent position and is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a well-established company.
The Role:
- Reporting to Senior Management this individual will be required to work on their own initiative visiting a new site every day.
- The role will primarily involve testing and inspection of existing electrical installations General electrical works , emergency lighting testing, pat testing
- The candidate must have the ability to carry out visual inspections of electrical installations and complete full Periodic Inspections including all testing and reporting as required.
- The role also involves routine electrical maintenance, and testing of emergency lights and general electrical works and some pat testing
- Fault finding and problem resolution in general.Fuse board upgrades
- Where required some minor electrical installation works will be required
- Completion of daily reports and Health & Safety forms as required for day to day works on sites.
- All reporting from site Periodic Inspections will be uploaded to a Cloud based system, so the candidate must be competent with such technology. Training will be provided.
The ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Experience in Electrical Testing .
- Full clear driving license.
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling have to be up to date.
